This fishing line release is specifically engineered to reduce water resistance. The hydrodynamic design minimizes the turbulence allowing for natural bait / lure presentation. Lower resistance results in decreased blow-back.

This Release was specifically designed to be used with downriggers, however, it can be successfully used with Outriggers, Flat Lines and Kites. This Release is ideal for most of the fresh and salt water applications. Recommended to be used with 10 to 25 pound tackle.
Manufacturer recommends to always use a security strap on all fishing equipment while trolling.
