Dry vs. Wet

We recommend dry use for most pool resurfacing projects because it’s simple and cost-effective. Any quality 7″ variable-speed polisher with GFCI or cordless works. Wet use can extend disc life, but requires specialized water-fed equipment. Pool Plaster Disc uses Matrix Abrasive bonding technology for controlled correction of pool plaster surfaces in both dry and wet polishing.

⚠️ Safety: Keep RPM ≤ 3,500. Avoid overheating. Always use GFCI protection and proper PPE.

Also available in 70 Grit and 120 Grit.

50 Grit Pool Plaster Disc – Dry Polishing & Resurfacing

The 50 grit pool plaster disc is step one in fixing rough plaster and removing scale. Use for dry polishing & resurfacing marble, quartz, and pebble pool finishes. Safe for saltwater systems thanks to a non-corrosive diamond matrix. For best results, follow with 70 grit and 120 grit discs. See the Pool Plaster Disc Grit Guide for details.
