The El Tomo has the classic, performance fish outline with added spice only found in the trademark Tomo multi -concave hull design.. Resulting in smooth and speedy transitions. The bump wing into double diamond tail profile is freely-releasing, and ensures high-performance moments will always be on tap. For any of you that’s surfed, (and undoubtedly loved) the Firewire Evo, you’ll notice the similarities in the generous volume and low rocker which translates into unrivalled speed.
The El Tomo is fast and stable, without compromising the performance characteristics we all expect from a Tomo design.
Ability: Suitable for all surfers from beginner to expert… When we say beginner, we don’t mean but it as your first ever surfboard.

LFT – Linear Flex Technology – A fibreglass and epoxy sandwich with an EPS core and Firewire’s new Springer HD… a 0.75” (18 mm) wide aerospace composite that runs down the centre-line of the board, representing the next generation in their ‘Springer’ technology. Unlike the original balsa Springer build, which only added stiffness under the front foot, the Springer HD runs the entire length of the board and plays a pivotal role in optimizing flex from nose to tail.
