Golden brandy coloured zircon. Here again is a gem family misunderstood and waaay under appreciated. Zircon is a gorgeous natural gem family not to be confused with synthetic cubic zirconia. It’s a gemologist’s gem, but I’m letting fans of Disegno in on the secret of how beautiful it can be. Lots of zircon here, in many colours, faceted and ‘en cabochon’. This pair weighs 2.96 ct and was set in 18k gold on 18k gold Grape Studs. The colour is rich and varied like a very fine cognac.
