Vintage / Antique Spring Loaded Bull Nose Ring / Leader / Tether.

Antique iron and brass bull leader. Pulling back on the spring allows the pincer like jaws of the tether to open. Let go of the spring and the jaws lock in place. No markings. Early 20th century or older.
