Magic Mouse Bank No. 2208, Yoneya, Japan.
Original vintage tin plate “Magic Mouse Bank” novelty money box from the 1960’s. Marked with the Yoneya trade mark (YONE within a diamond). In original box also marked with the Yoneya trade mark and “Made in Japan”. Manufacturers No. 2208.
Mechanism:- Clockwork / Wind-Up motor with integral key.
Action:- Put a coin in the trolley and press down. The mouse then appears to push the trolley around the periphery of the toy until it reaches the cash register. As mouse and trolley pass through the cash register the coin drops into the interior of the money box.
Size:- 4.00 inches in diameter approx.
Condition:- The toy is in very good condition, ex shop stock. The box is very slightly shelf worn. Internal packing present. Please refer to photographs.
